Pickleball

Pickleball is currently the fastest-growing sport across America and Europe.

It is a fun sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. In Ireland, it is usually played indoors on a badminton-sized court so you do not need to be super fit!

The paddle is similar to a table tennis racquet, just a bit larger. A pickleball has holes in it to make it very light, causing little resistance to arms and shoulders. It is suitable for all ages.

Killeshandra Pickleball Club has been up & running for over five years.

It is a small club, but whilst we lack in numbers we make up for it with fun and enthusiasm!

In 2024 we took part (for the first time) in the Club Team Championships in Multyfarnham where we were placed runners-up in our division.

New members are always welcome, but be warned it is highly addictive, so you may well leave, bitten by the bug! It happens to most people who try it.

Come and give it a go. All you need is suitable footwear, we have the rest.

We play Sundays from 11 am until 1 and Thursday evenings from 8 until 10 pm
