Nestled amidst the lakes of the UNESCO-recognized Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark, our town's history stretches back to ancient times, with roots in the Ulster Plantation project of the early seventeenth century. 

From the ancient raths and historic churches to the legacy of the linen trade and the rise of local industry, we celebrate and safeguard the stories and heritage that make Killeshandra unique.
